Landmarks of DeKalb, Inc. will award two $500 cash prizes for use in the classroom to two teachers who introduce their students to the concept of preservation and best incorporate local community history into their classroom curricula. One award of $500 will be given in the Kindergarten through 6th grade category and another $500 award will be given in the 7th through 12th grade category. All elementary and High School teachers in DeKalb County are invited to apply.
