Robert, a media producer, received his training in the arts in the Los Angeles, CA production community. He has used his talents and skills with many of the schools and organizations in DeKalb County. In the spring his time is consumed doing senior videos at county high schools, but he is most passionate about producing documentaries and other special events in support of programs that make a difference in the world. He has produced approximately 30 video interviews of DeKalb County World War II veterans with plans to place copies in each library in the county.
Moehr joined the Landmarks Board in 2001, and has used his talents to make a difference in the preservation of DeKalb County history. For many years he has videotaped special events held at the Opera House, and other historical programs, which will be placed in the archives for the use and enjoyment of future generations.
Robert is the father of two children, Leah Scott, a special education teacher at Geraldine, and Joshua Moehr, a sound technician who lives in Birmingham. He spends a lot of his spare time enjoying his grandson.
He requests the support of our membership as he leads us in these tumultuous times. In Robert we have a strong leader to move us forward on such important projects as the archives, the Willstown Cemetery and the restoration of the fort site.
